You are the church you attend…
…and I think it is possible to “out grow” your church. For instance, if I get home and my mum hands me a feeding bottle to suck out of, I would not find it funny!
I have outgrown the feeding bottle! There is no satisfaction for me in that bottle! I NEED REAL FOOD!
Similarly, there are various churches for people at different stages of their life, church is meant for much more than marking registers and keeeping in touch with friends. Do not get me wrong; the brethren in our churches have their place.
But ultimately, church is the place to meet God, expand your mind, groom you, grow you.
You should review your church today, ask tough questions. If you church is making you die….
