The more we repeat, the more it sticks.
The reason you are very efficient at the things you daily like brushing your teeth is because you do them everyday. Repetition! Repetition!! Repetition!!!
The first rule to truly learn anything or imbibe any new idea is repetition. Consistently repetition allows the subject matter to sink in until you will finally understand it. Never assume you have understood the contents of any (good) book after the first reading. I always enjoy reading a good book over and over again, absorbing the knowledge of the author, engaging in (imaginary) debates with the author, cross referencing points raised by doing some more research online and all that. I repeat until I “get it”.
The reason we tell people “I Love You” over and over again is not because they are deaf and did not hear us the first time. It is because the more we repeat it, the more it sinks in and dawns on us.
