Too Mental, Too Logical

Smart people are awesome, that ability to take a look at problems and come up with answers in 30 mins, not 48 hours is a true gift. However, when we become too mental and too logical, it is a problem, especially when it blinds us to some other things.

A lot of the brightest minds on the planet today either deny a reality of the spiritual dimension or claim it has been blown out of proportion. I find it amusing because despite over 300 years of development of physical science; mankind’s quest to understand his environment, we are still totally clueless about how nature does a lot of the amazing things she does.

This is still not a proof that there is more to us than the 3D world we can touch and feel.

Men who would debate, analyse and tear apart sacred religious text that have ensured centuries – largely unscathed – would succumb and fit into boxes defined by so-called “brilliant scholars”. I am yet to find too many people challenge Albert Einstein’s claims that NOTHING CAN GO FASTER THAN LIGHT, that the speed of light is the ultimate speed limit. Men who condemn and criticise things of the spirit have not thought it wise to analyse and condemn Einstein’s theories which by the way, does not work everywhere.

Smart people just like to show off; if it cannot be proved by mathematical equations, they are not interested. The challenge is now for guys like me to prove the spiritual exists based on mathematical proofs and not on some vague sounding feeling on the inside. All the crime and hate and uproar going on in different parts of the world are not proofs that something is wrong spiritually, there are intellectually satisfying answers and lots of statistical analysis to proof that everything can be mentally handled.

Do not be too logical, too rational, too mental to see the reality and truth dangling right in front of your eyes. I am a scientist, I am smart, but I am not too mental to fail to see God in everyday life and His presence or lack of it on the global scene.
