More than acquiring more skills, we need to acquire more bravery. The boldness to move towards making something worth making a remark about.
The biggest hindrance to making progress is not only lacking the skills or finances to get it done. It is lacking the heart to just keep moving forward. Bravery has to be cultivated, bravery has to be encouraged. Bravery is what allows our creativity to flourish.
Timid people can never be creative, they will be scared-out and settle for yesterday’s original ideas just like everybody else. They’ll drown out their own inner voices.
