Getting ready for the future of work

The next 10 years of work will be very different from the previous 50 years of work.

I suspect we have got to the end of normal full time jobs. We will no longer talk about jobs, we will talk about projects and the kind of people that need to be pulled together into a team inorder to make it happen.

It is beginning to look like there are not enough full time jobs to go around, and as technology improves, businesses are getting so much done with much fewer resources. Jobs will continue to disappear.

The future of work seems to only favour the professional.

Interesting in bracing up yourself for the future of work? Become an expert in a professional field.

REFLECTION:

How can technology change my industry and which full-timejobs will disappear? How is outsourcing affecting my industry?

ACTION:

Move up the ladder: How can I become an all encompassing professional that can execute projects and work well with others?
