What do we need to get our ideas built?

Over the years, I meet a lot of people – energetic, passionate about this idea for an app, a business or a non-profit organisation. As the years roll by, they are unable to move those ideas into reality.

They read a lot of books, they attend all sorts of seminars, yet they just seem unable to get out there to get it done. This is a challenge that occupies my thoughts often and I discuss it often with my think tank, poking around for the root problems and how they can be solved.

We identified two things that could make things turn out better.

Correct Knowledge

Knowledge has increased in our days, with access to tools now open to everybody, there are more voices than ever. However, more people teaching does not mean they are correct.

We need to sieve through everything and find correct, applicable knowledge. Knowledge that holds true in our own unique circumstances. I usually argue that been knowledgeable goes beyond memorising quotable quotes and cliché, we have to dig deeper than the hype and find the bare essentials. That is when we can build up from there.

And so, many people hoping to build their ideas do not seem to acquire the useful knowledge they need. They fumble and fall.

Guidance

It is not enough to just transfer the knowledge, sometimes you need to hold by the hand and show how its done. There are improvisations that might need to be made on the journey and only an experienced eye can navigate through such a maze.

People need mentorship. A real person they can share concerns with and that can help them move ahead with their goals. A mentor is not the billionaire you read about in the newspapers or the great woman who is long dead and you religiously read up everything she ever wrote.

A mentor is someone who has passed through where you are right now and is now where you want to be and is WILLING to guide you through.

This February, I have decided I would be interested in providing knowledge and guidance to 30 people who have ideas but so far have been unable to build them. I will teach you everything you need to know to convert your ideas into projects, businesses or startups. I do not plan to stop there, I also will offer some guidance as you step out to build out your ideas.

I have a track record of consistently moving ideas into products and startups. You will be getting access to practical knowledge, wisdom and ideas that I have gathered in my nearly 10 years of working in this field.
