The cheapest…

Building a business around the promise of offering the lowest prices is just silly.

No matter how hard you try, someone will always come along who will be able to offer lower prices. This is why personally, I prefer to work hard to build products that standout in crowded marketplaces, amidst increasing competition.

I prefer appending labels like “best”, “faster”, “simpler” and so on to my brands.

In fact, on May 20, 2013 I made a decision:

We don’t compete on price
We don’t compete based on features
We compete by the superiority of our ideas and ground breaking solutions.

Why should we do otherwise? To a business that only promises lower prices, all that matters is not the quality of the product but how to cut prices and push prices down. And once we go down that route, the profitability of the business is in jeopardy.
