No matter how motivated, brilliant or optimistic you might be, sometimes, things just do not work out. No matter how hard we try, we just fail to get a result. To make it worse, we get the blame for the situation even though the factors are beyond our control.
It is inevitable to encounter losses, it is even a valid argument that if you have never experienced a loss at all, you are not really living. Only a person who plays extremely “safe” can somehow avoid having losses.
So, while losses cannot be avoided, we can at least change our perception of it.
Every loss teaches us certain kinds of lesson. It shows us who we really are, it shows you your flaws and helps you become a better person – provided you are humble enough to accept what the loss is telling you. If you grow bitter over the situation or all you do is cry all day, you cannot learn anything! That is the real mistake; not learning anything from the loss.
I think this is why it is important to have some kind of Faith in something, people who believe in God tend to always have a hope for a brighter tomorrow, they are usually able to bounce back from a loss, the most sincere amongst them always see failures, pain and losses as a sign from God telling them something is missing, that their life is not yet in complete alignment with God’s plan. And so, whenever they fail, they are looking for what is wrong and then they fix it promptly, ready to move on.
Show me a great man and I will show you a man who has had his own fair share of losses. You will certainly experience losses, betrayal, failure and neglect. What you have to do is to ensure you always bounce back, no matter how hard you have been hit.
