In Agreement

Can two walk together, except they be agreed?

This is a rhetorical question, no doubt.

You cannot successfully execute any project or start up a business when you and members of your team are not operating in sync.

I am a great believer in company culture over talent. As a company, we must have a set of core values, beliefs that we all share, like a bond that binds us firmly together. It is not enough to be brilliant and even hardworking. If we are not in agreement, we cannot make any progress.

If the only thing that binds you to your team, staff or business partners is money, I think that is just a terrible agreement and the odds of such a business to stand the test of time is very minimal.

We all have to share a bond, a connection much stronger than money. That is the first step towards building something great.
