A successful business man has to be a man of the masses. A person in-tune with the needs of the masses, a man who can genuinely identify with them and really see things from their own point of view.
People and problems are Siamese twins, you can never separate them; anywhere you have people, you are sure to have problems too and finding problems is a good thing also, because building a business around a problem people know they have is a great thing.
I have observed that it is easier to sell drugs and health related products because people take their health seriously and will not be willing to postpone such a purchase, selling the idea of building a website on the other hand requires more heavy lifting as you have to prove beyond any reasonable doubt that building a website will solve the problem of attracting new customers.
A man of the masses is the man who can spot business opportunities in the mass market and has the guts to execute.
I would like to think I am a man of the masses and hence, I can easily execute business ideas because of my proximity to the poor folks out there. I can relate with them and build things they would actually need.
