We must never forget why we got to where we are.
We must never forget that it is our customers who put us in business.
We must never forget that the customer and their wallets are the real bosses.
We must never forget the initial days, when we started at ground zero and started signing up customers one after the other.
We must never forget the pride we felt when our customer base started crossing thresholds: 1, 000th customer, 1, 000, 000th customer and the big one: 1, 000, 000, 000th customer!
No matter what happens, we must never allow things go so bad that our customers will have to band up and stage something like “No Banking day” to protest about how unfair we have treated them.
Today has been declared “No banking day” by customers to protest against excessive banking charges and to vent out some of the anger. Yesterday, on Nairaland I found a forum thread uniting people who claimed GTBank had scammed them over the weekend and they want to settle it out in court.
It could have turned all out differently if only they cared a little more.
