Inasmuch as we try to be professions and go the extra mile for the people who have engaged our services, we sooner or later realise that some clients are simply up to no good and will keep draining us away.
I once had an interesting client who kept changing the goals and the goal posts simultaneously and resorted to picking whatever thread from our conversations that suited him well at the moment…. the weird part was that whenever he ran into a brick wall and found out that I was in the right, he simply dismisses the whole thread with a “never mind that”.
Handling clients are never easy; you need a lot of patience and wisdom in dealings. Clients always like to think they own you 24 hours just because they’ve paid you some money.
So, let us get our own house in order by working hard to deliver high quality services always, but sometimes, a client might just be a bad fit for you and you might just have to let go.
Don’t fret too much about it. There is always another client coming along.
***If you are always having challenges with every client, the flaws may be from your own end. Always consider this possibility also.
