A lot of people have this mindset that once they can meet a governor or top politician, then they will succeed.
Just grant them that meeting with that top government official and they are made.
You see people generate cool ideas and rather than try to start it somehow and scale up, they sit in Abuja, knocking ministry doors, looking for a way for the government to take it up.
More often than not, things don’t work out fine. Time and money that could have started a real pilot test gets wasted. My least productive year was 2012, the year I spent chasing investors and influential people.
Those that succeed are those with the mindset that “I will succeed with or without” meeting such high profile people…
…And guess what? These are even the kinds of people the Governor wants to meet.
