Ideas come from various sources, but I prefer to optimise for ideas that come from above. Such ideas are usually superior in concept and they usually stand the test of time.
Consider:
“For whatsoever is born of God overcometh the world. And this is the victory that overcometh the world, even our faith.” – 1 John 5:4
It says WHATSOEVER, that is anything at all that we can trace its origin to God already has the potentials to overcome the world. What we then need to do is to build up our faith to get it done.
I have also observed that God given ideas are resilient, they have the life of God, they can never die. They only become better, bigger and bolder… Many of such ideas that I did not work on due to fear or whatever excuse I choose to cover up usually makes a return, gently nudging me to kick off the ideas on a serious note.
I think it is very much worth it to prayerfully seek out an idea from above, it will change your life forever. It has certainly changed mine. I know we usually have a ton of ideas on our mind anyway, but it seems to me that it is way better to execute ONE idea I am sure I have God’s backing to do than execute 15 ideas that are products of my limited and myopic mind.
