Most people build their companies around products. So, you have a brilliant person that has this awesome product idea and starts building it out by seeking out advisers, investors and staff. Everyone comes together to build out this product idea.
Recently, my attention has been drawn towards another model, a people-centered model. What happens when you empower a bunch of forward thinking people and set them free to pursue what they like? A company that is built around people and their goals as opposed to building it around products and a 5 year product roadmap.
I want to build a people company. Definitely.
