I have a theory that each of us is a manifestation of what we believe.
Many years ago when I heard Sam Adeyemi say that he used to be very poor and then he changed his mind, I had no clue what he meant, but over the years, I now get it.
The first step out of poverty, failure, mediocrity; any condition at all is a change in your personal belief system. If you are yet to convince yourself that you will live a significant life, then you are not going to have it.
In 2011, some friends and I brainstormed for hours, looking for a billion dollar idea we could pursue (no kidding) and after several hours, we gave up. No billion dollar idea for us.
When I reviewed that meeting later on, the truth dawned on me: It was not that the ideas we came up with were bad but the real issue was that we did not believe in those ideas, we never thought they could generate $1 billion for anybody.
What do you believe?
Do you believe in your self?
Do you believe in your skills?
Do you believe in your chosen career path?
Do you believe in your spouse?
Do you believe in your kids?
Do you believe you can attract all the resources you need to execute your projects?
Your life changes the day you change your belief system.
