My real goal with The Morebise Post

I am not here to motivate you.

My posts might motivate you, but that is not the primary goal.

The primary goal is not to even make money from it. I am yet to seriously monetise #TMP, yet it takes a fair chunk of my time and energy.

My goal with The Morebise Post is to show you the thoughts that guide my every step and share some of the results I am recording from such thoughts.

This is why people seem to find my posts useful, they are thoughtful and practical, not a brilliantly conceived assemble of quotable quotes and intellectual rubbish.

Doing the real work is hard and so, many people chicken out and resort to motivating others to do the work instead. I am sick and tired of speakers prophesying that Nigerians will do great things soon, I want us to GET OUT OF THE BUILDING AND WORK!

If we all keep motivating others to work, at the end of the day, the work will remain undone.

Similarly, the justification for continued publication of The Morebise Post is when we have more doers, more people out there who can move from idea-to-execution, consistently.

We all must keep working hard to build real value in whatever we are doing. You need to work hard, push yourself!

I didnt start The Morebise Post because I want to motivate you and take your money. NO! We set it up because we want to exchange ideas, challenge you and fire you up for something serious.

You can make me your mentor, company’s chairman or anoint me as your company’s advisor… But ultimately, you can also see me extremely busy solving problems with the business I am building.

This is my edge over motivational speakers: I don’t only inspire people and get them fired up, I also try to get them WORKING. I play the long, boring, unsexy game. This is the hard work required for a true turnaround in our nation.

This is the work no get-rich-quick motivational speaker or growth consultants want to do.

P.S.

The Morebise Post clocks 2 years old today. 2 years of sharing my thoughts with the world and I am loving every second of it. It was a miracle that I could get this edition published, I have been going through some rough times recently and my server is having some challenges.

However, these things just make me stronger.

We are still here!
