Billionaires do not emerge from the vacuum, here is how they emerge

If you are one of those that aspire to become a billionaire, it is worth it to draw your attention to a seemingly overlooked aspect of the whole process.

You see, it is not about making billions of dollars, it is about solving billion dollar worth of problems.

The first step therefore towards making it big is by deciding on which billion dollar problem you would like to solve, and I can assure you that there are so many of such out there. You just have to look at the society with the right frame of mind.

In a country like Nigeria, you do not need to go too far before you start finding such opportunities. Nigeria is such a broken country that I am confident that the man or woman who decides to buckle up and tackle the various challenges here with brilliant, innovative solutions will emerge as the richest man in the world in no time.

Most sectors need help, from the obvious ones: power, connectivity to others like education and agriculture, opportunities do abound.

To the person who seriously wants to become a billionaire, all you have to do is to make your pick, focus on coming up with a brilliant innovative solution and you are on your way.

The innovative idea you seek might not come after a 2 hour brainstorming session or even after the first 2 weeks, these things take time (If it was easy, everyone would be doing it!). This is why I need to counsel you to be ready to be in it for the long haul. It might take 10 years (ha ha!)

You can watch things happen or you can step on the stage and become an active participant (enriching yourself in the process). I believe that anyone can rise beyond their backgrounds and rise as high as they would love to.

We need you to emerge, we need you to start taking things a bit more serious. Hug a billion-dollar problem today!
