It dawns on me that to truly succeed in this life, one needs to commit to getting the job done, regardless of the cost.
These things require a commitment to carry on whether in rainfall or sunshine, whether the mountains be removed and casted into sea, we must just forge on.
Beyond the fact that people paid us to deliver results and not excuses, and all the integrity issues attached, we must also know that it is a matter of personal development and advancement. If you make an habit of abandoning projects half way, regardless of what happened, you will fall into an ugly pattern of wasted potentials.
For all the brilliance of Leonardo Da Vinci, mankind has just 13 pieces of artwork that we are sure he started and completed. He left us with a trail of unfinished concepts and ideas.
This tells me that I can be a brilliant engineer, artist, writer or web designer and yet fail to ship projects because I have failed to develop some other kinds of critical skills that are needed in order for it to thrive.
Commit to finishing the job every time. Just ship it.
