Behind every miracle…

Would you like to have a miracle year? Of course, what sort of question is that??

Good.

The issue with miracles is that a lot of people have misconceptions about it. We see miracles as an heaven-only event that will solve every problem and we would live happily ever after just like in the movies. It does not work that way. Welcome to real life.

Rev. Areogun once said: “Miracle does not produce destiny. It is process that produces destiny”. My own Father-in-the-Lord says “If you are not undergoing a process, you cannot become a product”. I hold both statements close to my heart. The truth is that we all hate process, process is boring. Yet, random miracles do not make a man mighty. It is boring process that makes you a mighty man that can produce miracles all year round.

Behind every country touted to have experienced a miraculous turn around in their economy, you would not find random, unexplainable feats. You find out that some people created a viable plan and executed it very well. In 2016, a lot of Nigerians will continue to wait for a messiah, a miracle moment when in a swoosh, all our problems will disappear and everybody will be happy.

Miracles have a human component to it, it is never an heaven-forces-only event.

If you are going to have a miraculous 2016, be ready to pray, plan, think, take risks, make great sacrifices (get out of your comfort zones! Nothing interesting happens there!) and work hard.

Yes, behind the scenes of a miracle year is a lot of thought, planning and sacrifices.

Miracle is the day #TMP, a simple blog written by a young Nigerian gets syndicated across several national dailies in several countries of the world. Process is the commitment to keep posting every single day, regardless of whether I feel inspired to write or not.
