There is a lot to do and so little time to fit everything into and so, we postpone doing some things until some time in the future. We really want to do this, but it is such an herculean task that will require resources we do not have at the moment.
The challenge with waiting for the future is that even though we think we have defined the parameters of the future time we want to kick things off, the time itself is still usually vague and undefined. Most times when we say we are waiting for the future, we are usually waiting for a big bang moment, a moment of magic that will supernaturally endow us with everything that we feel we will need but that is currently missing.
Let us consider the alternative: rather than wait for the future when everything is set, what do I have right now or what is within my reach right now that I can put in place so as to get started? In what little way can I start my vision and then grow it into what matches the vision I have inside my spirit?
(Most times, waiting for the future is a way to postpone dealing with the fear of starting something new…)
