Dealing with bully client

Clients will try to bully you. That’s a given. They’ll try to sneak in more requests that were not part of initial bargain or try to undercut your fees.

We are then placed on the spot.

Do we speak up and risk losing it all or do we play dumb and ride along, afterall the extra requests are not so much. There is so much at stake, if we speak up, will we not come across as rude or proud

Sooner or later however, the truth hits home because the more you give, the more they will demand. They’ll keep pushing their luck.

This is where confidence comes in, you must be bold enough to always stand your ground. It is ok to perform some acts of generosity for clients, but no clients should bully us into lowering our prices or changing specifications of the project after work has commenced.

Nothing is do or die. Always be ready for the worst case scenario of moving on. You could really be better off without the bullies.
